About The Black Fly

The Black Fly is a satirical publication covering Maine politics. Everything on this site is satire and fiction. Quotes, people and events described in our stories are invented or exaggerated for comedic purposes and should not be taken as fact.

Like its namesake, The Black Fly shows up every spring, finds Augusta and does not leave.
